Cloth diapers are best and cheapest to use in the long run.
Disposables put plastic, paper and chemicals against your skin, is this really a good thing?? Not only that but with disposables you put all that paper, plastic, chemicals and human waste into our landfills. The human waste breeds all kinds of bacteria that filters down into our water systems, yuck! Not to mention that the diapers themselves take decades to decay, long after our own bodies decay they will still be there. Why do that to our environment? I think they should be outlawed myself.
With cloth, you will have less chance of getting diaper rashes, you will be wrapped in a nice soft cloth diaper and will be more comfortable.
I’m incontinent and have to wear diapers 24 / 7 due to a medical condition. I wear cloth diapers all the time along with waterproof plastic pants, under my clothes, to work and everywhere else I go. I’m an active adult that works a 40 hour week and I’m in meetings with upper management all the time and they have no clue that I wear a diaper. It’s all in making sure it fits properly so that the bulk doesn’t show.
If you are set on wearing a disposable diaper then I use the Assurance brand from Wal-Mart. I only use them when I’m traveling for work or something similar to that where I can’t carry and wash used cloth diapers.
These have three tapes on each side similar to the Attends and they are very absorbent, and they have a plus, they are cheaper, around $8.50 for 22 in a package.
I say depends. Here is a link so that you can read up on them, good luck with the issue
