What is commonly done, is not go after a thicker diaper, as that become bulky and still has wetness to it, but rather add a double diaper. When the inner one is wet, that can be slipped off easily, and the backup takes over.
Try EuroBrief, Abena X-Plus, or Bambino, those are the top 3 I have ever found. I personally use the Abena due to price and availability. Good Luck, and by the way, the diaper doubles don’t work nearly as well as the 3 diapers mentioned.
Use the Depends brand—that’s what they use in all the hospitals and nursing homes.
