Quite possibly. But then again she is four years old and they get into ALOT of stuff.
She may not wipe, may occasionally not make it to the toilet and it dries, she may have contact dermatitis from something else, may have a yeast infection, may have stuffed 10 pounds of mud into her drawers like mine did.
The best thing to do is just treat it as you would normally and then carefully watch for a reoccurence to determine what is causing it.
Calendula oil (available in any health food store) will clear up the remaining rash that keeps getting further irritated each time she ‘goes’. It will clear it by the end of the day!!! I have yet to see it fail (15 years as Mom).
You may need to monitor her bathroom habits a little better. She may not be wiping well.If you see she is and the rash is still there it may be a yeast infection.I do however have to agree with whoever said a rash can be a sign of abuse. In this day and age you can never dismiss anything.Just keep an eye on it
It’s probaply from her not wiping the correct way. THEN ONCE THE URINE DRIES UP IT CAUSE A REACTION. SHE MAY ALSO BE JUST VERY SENSITIVE LIKE MY DAUGHTER WAS. THE TOILET PAPER CAN BOTHER HER TO BREAK OUT OR EVEN HER UNDER WEAR. i HAVE SOME AMAZING TIPS FOR YOU THAT WILL HELP YOUR DAUGHTER FEEL SO MUCH BETTER REAL QUICK. http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/645885/ways_of_getting_rid_of_a_diaper_rash.html
Nine times out of ten its from not wiping. Try having wipes available for her at all times, she is more likely to clean herself properly that way. Also check her every once in a while to make sure she is wiping at all and show her how to do it again. If she is sore just soak her in a warm soapy bath, dry her well, and use a little antibitoic ointment.
Hubby maybe right. She may not be wiping herself clean or she could be wiping too much. My mom told me I had the problem when I was really little of over wiping and rubbing myself raw. Try leaving a box of wipes in the bathroom and have her use that first then toilet paper. Tell her that the wipe must be clean then she can use the paper to dry if she has a poop. If she only has a pee the just wipe dry with the paper. Good luck.
It could be from not cleaning properly. It could also be a yeast infection. You need to check with your doctor to know for sure.

Rashes can happen for many reasons, anwhere from not being clean enough to abuse..
I’m not saying that the latter is the case in your household, just be aware that this could be a cause and talk to your doctor.

It’s cant be diaper rash if she is not in a diaper. I suggest using flushable wipes
she needs to wipe properly after wards otherwise its like a having a full nappy on all day
or her knickers are to tight
